hmmm swine flu, I do work in NYC so I probably could pull it off, problem is with my job if you call in sick you actually have to go see a dept. surgeon and they verify if you are actually sick or not....not cool

So I havent talked with Jan yet, we have been playing phone tag but I will try later. I talked with Innovative and we have the dates booked and they are open from 9am-7pm so that gives us a little more flexibility for tuning hours. Ill keep everyone updated as soon as I hear more.

Hello--

Have any more room for June 9, 10? I just want a few dyno pulls to get a baseline.

I don't want anything really crazy as far as tune. This will be my first tuning day, so be nice. My car and I are tuning virgins.

I don't have many mods on the R53. Intake and bypass valve as far as internals.

So I would like to learn while I am there.

Ok thats fine. The tune doesnt make the car crazy it adds some horsepower and improves the driveability and power down low, its awesome

hi melissa!!

HA! just a dyno pull

tuning your car (even in it's relatively virginal state-clearly we're not talking suspension mods) will have it driving faster and smoother. btw, jan can also raise your rev limiter a bit....which would help a ton when you're autocrossing i suggest you call or e-mail jan and tell him what you're looking for. he's very patient with questions lord knows i've pestered him plenty! jan@revolutionmini.com

it will be nice to see you (and your mini) so soon after the dragon

Raising the rev limiter may be bad since I possess a lack of self control. Thanks for the info and the patience! It'll be good to hang out with MINI people again. Kinda scarce here in the middle of the state.

your secret is safe with me

seriously though, raising the rev limiter would be "all good" for autox and how often do you go near 7k rpms otherwise??? like, never!

now as for self control.....you know how much help i am there
