Interesting thread...will keep watching this one.

I would be interested in the chrome bezels as I do have the chromeline interior. Are the 2-1/16" Chrome Bezels available? I only see ones for their 3-3/8" Tach on the accessories page?

Yes they are, it just doesn't appear on their web site. They are on my gauges on the previous page.

Thanks. I thought the same thing about matching the factory gauges. I painted the plastic case with some black wrinkle-finsh paint, and I bought an ATP vacuum block adapter that bolts on to the intake manifold underneath the stock MAP sensor. Makes a nice ,clean simple install.

For me I like the Marshall gauges better than the Autometer simply because the needle is lit, where the Autometer models that I have seen are not. I also think the backlighting on the Marshall is closer to the OEM. Having said this I would like to add that I think Autometer makes very good quality gauges that many people in MINI community are using.

Regarding the minimum order size, they did not have any problem selling me two gauges.

Here are some better resolution images of the Marshall gauges I posted earlier.

And here are some high resolution versions of these same images.

Your link to the second high res pic doesn't work.

Those look good. Even with the stock face they match pretty close. A design with the Mini layout and font would make these near perfect. The R56 gauges are similar enough to look good with your custom design too. Only thing they could really change after that would be painting the needle base silver and they would look OEM. They're close enough though. I'll definitely give them a call when I get gauges soon. I'm looking at boost and water temp at the moment, only because oil temp/pressure on the R56 seems too hard for anybody to do.

Fixed the link, sorry about that.

The needle base is going to be painted silver according to Marshall.

how about the other parts, like the pod that attaches to the tach?

and how hard is it to install the gauge I like DIY projects, but if it requires taking things apart in the engine bay, I may have reservations... Thanks.
