MegaMynes Headers

Received my MegaMynes Straight Headers today. It's a well-made beauty and reminds me of F1 exhaust MegaMynes Headers-dsc02581-1.jpg

Will mate with Ireland Engineering Cat-bacK exhaust.
It has a semi-polished finish stainless steel and welds are indeed inside and outside. D-ports are cut with precision as they are smooth and looks like laser straight. It's like OEM. The nice smooth spaghetti curves of the pipes are like F1 exhaust. I wonder if this design has something to do with maximizing exhaust gas velocity.

Tks.

So who is going to be the first guinea pig and perform an RMW vs Mynes header shoot-out?

I'd think using the same dyno, with the stock header, the RMW, and the Mynes with zero change in tune should show us quite a bit... no?

Joe it would have to be the same "tuner" because im sure that slight diffrences in the shape of the header will need to be accounted for.
Sooo what really should happen is both tuners tune both headers on the same dyno
Then they can including the full dyno graph WITH THE CORRECTION FACTOR.
Scary i know right and the Air/Fuels.

Ill go have to ride my unicorn now cause it will likely never happen.
Mynes and Rmw people are like apples and oranges the way i see it.

What in the world do you mean? In what way?

This gets weirder and weirder everyday. So what about people with rmw parts and mynes parts? Are they like an apple and orange salad?

I wonder how these would be on a NA (non-S) MC. I'd assume one would want
the non-stepped version.

But Joe,
The Mini "scientific" community has already shown us that even the OEM header is more powerful than the RMW........right??....no? (insert your best G.W. Bush smirk here)

That because the RMW header doesn't have F1 style bends .

"Mynes people" and "RMW people" That is too funny.

You and Longboard should wear leather RMW jackets and start a gang

that it would be a good way to go... While it would bolt up, the NA car doesn't flow nearly the volume of exhaust gas that the SC'ed and turbo'd cars to. You'd be better served with smaller diameter primaries, I think.

Better than stock? Probably.... Optimal for the app? Probably not...

My car and Mynes "Green" car have been pretty similar in gains "mod for mod" using similar components.

Look at his and my dyno numbers and talk amongst yourselves.
