Could I run 215/40/17 on my stock 17 rims? I didn't know if there would be a clearance issue so I thought I'd check here.

 

Running them now with 1.5 inch drop no problems at all

 

What type of camber kit did you use when you lowered your car? I thought about that as well but tire width are my main concern. I don't want any contact with struts, apron, or any other important factors unless I have to use spacers.

 

Just springs, no camber kit. I have no rubbing even with a tight turn

 

I ran that size (GoodYear F1-GSD3) on my stock S-lites for 20K+ miles with no problem. I am running Koni Yellows with Dinan springs and IE camber plates. No rubbing of any kind.
