Hello,

Has anyone installed the Alta Air diverter?

Is this something I (not very mechanically inclined) can do myslef?

I was reading on outmotoring that the water mist is oerated using the rear windshield sprayers...is this connection hard?

I looked in the how to section but this particular device is not in there and I haven't purchased it yet.

Thanks,

Louay

Good question, would like to see a link to the "How To" myself.

Giving it a push.

I just ordered it. It would be nice to have a how-to on the install. Will have to wait and see. It may be very simple to install.

Just installed the air diverter and it took about 45 min. I decided not to activate the water sprayer function and not to use the silicone connectors. To me the water sprayer was not really needed as I am just communting and not racing the car.
I do not have a mechanical background and just took my time. I gave up on using the silicone connectors as I could not get the *X@# things on. I liked the OEM rubber connectors fine as they have flanges at the ends that seem to help. I kept the alta rings just incase I want to try again in the future. It appears that the silicone ones would be more prone to slipping off, but other know more on this than I do. The kit does come with a good set of instructions complete with pictures. I do not think you would have difficulty with the install even if you activated the water sprayer function.

Hope your install goes well. And you can always call Randy if things go wrong. That is if you are ordering from him.

Me too! The silicone couplers are impossible!
