Users of the Alta Tensioner stop - could you tell me how loud or noticeable it is for a daily driver?

No noise whatsoever in our daily driver. I had heard of rattles when perusing this board, but haven't noticed any yet. I could see rattling starting up if the bolt works loose, or if the slot in the tensioner stop does not engage fully.

I have a slight rattle on idle and near redline, but not major enough to bother me.

 

I also had a slight rattle at idle. A quick fix is take off the front passenger wheel and wheel well, unscrew and rotate the tensioner, wrap the sides opposite of the screw with duck tape (only the area that can touch metal). With that the rattle will turned into a purr. Hope it helps.

 

I didn't like the Alta stop. After couple thousand miles started to rattle like crazy at idle. Tried several things to fix including grease the slot... liquid rubber, etc.
Finally, replaced it with Detroit Tuned stop. That was over 8K miles ago and no noise/rattle.
