Drivetrain Next step for power?
^^ very true.
Mine revved up to 6998 rpm before shifting, and that is basically where the power peaked out.
I totally understand that with a higher rev, I could achieve greater HP, but I don't want ALL my power to be at 7k + . Ideally I'd enjoy a nice wide powerband that doesn't NEED to exceed 7k to come alive.

I'll dig out one of my old dyno sheets. On a dynopack one time my car showed 297 lbs of TQ. My car drives Dynopack crazy. It tried to jump off a couple of time. so they put a third strap on the front and pulled it to the left to stop it from moving.

Might want to check your sig too....M7 doesn't have a 17% pulley.
"M7 17% & 2% pulley"

Look at the M7 website
http://www.m7tuning.com/parts/index.php?cPath=7_1
They only have the 16% pulley and 2% crank pulley.
Just because someone told you...doesn't mean it's a fact...same goes for everything around here on NAM.

I don't care about the accuracy of your sig, but if you really don't care about what's really in your car.....

damn. then i def dont know what was going on with my car leaning out with 400s.
what pulley were you running?

Looking at the OP's original post, the only two things that would actually make a difference is the pulley and the tune. The intake, cat back, and header not so much. 170 WHP seems in the "real world" ball park. I mean thats still an almost 20 WHP gain.
Guys I have just about all the mods they are and I can only get 200WHP. The problem is you don't real no haow much WHP you ahve because it's an automatic. It shifts to early. Mine up shifts at 6600 rpms ( on A dyno ). On the street it gos a little higher ( almost 7k ). I've been looking every where for an answer. but as of yet none to be found. I had the JCW upgrade for the auto done and that works better , but still not enough rpms. It looks like to get more than 200WHP you need more than 7K in rpms. at least in the automatic
Sure is looking good AstroBlackS
Was your tune done on the dyno in CT or Ma last year? If so wasn't that dyno low on all cars at Jan's tune. OBX header isn't a power maker. Give Jan a call. Here's another option for you.

I remember that tune session,Frank. All cars "low"
I'm making nice power w/stock head,stock cam,stock intercooler.
-192 hp/178tq
I eat through 1st and 2nd gear like nothin'.
I think those of us w/auto have to shoot a little lower on our "power quest".
next:I think that adding a cam is the extent of my power mod journey.
If it were me,I'd put on the rmw header/cam and do a retune!
-good luck w/whatever you do,frank!
