I have Mini R53 so I don't know that much about the R56 performance kit. A friend asked me about modifying the R56. I suggested to him ALTA but I couldn't tell him what exactly to take so I decide to ask NAM members. Guys which items have to get? filter,boost tube etc. R56 non-JCW

Hi...this is a tough question....what's his/her budget? I am big fan of Alta performance. I have the following items from them:
Cold Air Intake
Full Turbo Back Exhaust
22mm Rear Sway Bar
All Boost Tubes
Stealth Black Front Mount Intercooler
Depending on budget, i'd recommend all. As far as first items I would suggest, would be the CAI and the Rear Sway Bar. All items, IMO, are as advertised.
