How do I install?......

... an "Alta" silicone intake hose for an '05 MCS 6-speed? I need photos

I got myself a blue silicone one to replace the factory "ribbed" one months ago and it's sitting in my garage shelf awaiting installation. I've seen several threads related to swapping the intake, but nothing specific about the hose itself. Is it "that" easy???? Looks a pretty cramped space to me.

Also, how reversible is it?, in case I want to switch back to the stock hose.

Thanks

It's pretty easy. The crankcase tube was a pain to plug back in for me. The mod is easily reversible, the only thing is the stock hose clamps are one time use and you cut them off. So if you want to go back you either use the alta clamps or buy new ones.

Not true.
You can un-clip the clamp with a small screwdriver and re-clip them with a small set of pliers.

just installed an ultrik air box and filter. ordered the alta hose to go along with it, should be here soon. is it the mosty the hose that gets u that loud supercharger whine, because it only sounds a LITTLE louder with the new airbox. was hoping for sum more noise!!
