Woohoo !!! Have fun. And unfortunately or maybe fortunately in your case, it sounds like you've just caught the "mod bug." Have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy your upgrades.

Agreed - I just put on their CAI about 1 month ago along with their 15% pulley and it really made a major difference in the car. The CAI definitely lets the engine breather - the stock intake box's cowl inlet is tiny.

Well I told myself I would not mod it..... But after driving this car it has so much potential and the car is just awesome, I went from a 00 mustang with every Bolton possible. Loved that car, it got broken into and I got so upset from seeing everything tore apart I decided to trade it in on a 01 audi s4 6speed, awd. If you don't know about that car it's just a nasty car. A 4 door sedan that'll pretty much beat 95% of cars on the road when modded, that car I put h&r coilivers, forge diverted valves, rs4 cams, intake, short throw shifter, lightweight flywheel, stage 2 clutch, and a chip. I called it my corvett stomper. Anyway I got rid of that beautiful machine because I had it for 4 years and it spend over 1 1/2 years in the shop total. I only put 20k on it, went through 2 trannies, I head rebuild, and just a bunch of other crap break. So I wanted another car that was more reliable. I have wanted a mini since 02, now I got 1. This car is amazing. And lots more mods to go. Next is exhaust. I'm thinking Ireland engineering because I think it sounds the best. Tip has to go though.

I'll post pics of the car while modding

Congrats, and make sure to install the boost gauge before the pulley. Drive it around some including WOT and see what kind of boost you are getting.......then install the pulley and repeat the data collection. This way you will have a full appreciation for what additional boost the pulley is delivering.

Also, change the belt to a Napa 060535, this will make sure you have the proper tension and ensure no slips.

Enjoy!

Hey, hold off on the Ireland Engineering exhaust for the moment. They are reworking the tip right now. No need to buy one now, and then have to "buy" the new improved tip later. Overall though, it's a nice sounding exhaust, looks good minus the tip, and is really easy to install. They are going for kind of a big mouth look. It'll be one tip kind of like a Porsche Boxter. It should be done here real soon. There is a thread about it.

Alta sells 3 diff belts, if you purchased the 060535 belt, then that would be the best selection, even with a 15% pulley. It will be a snug fit to get it on, but once installed it will settle in fine, and provide the best assurance of no belt slippage.

Get that boost gauge installed before the pulley so you can see the diff as measured in psi.

No problem. When you get the exhaust, and need any help or tips with the install, let me know.

Just got the intake in and put on. It sounds like a siren! I love it. I even did some weight reduction with a screw. Well I lost a screw I'm just calling it weight reduction . I'm still waiting on my pulley, and boost gauge.

OK, great progress! After you get that pulley installed you will have some data via the boost gauge to verify your butt dyno. Every car is a little different, but you should expect around 16psi with the new pulley, and maybe a nose bleed from the excessive acceleration.

well just got my 17% pulley installed finally, after the car being out of commission for 4 days and a part later!!! i went macho on the torque and needed to order a new piece to go on the supercharger shaft because apparently 30NM is not same as inch pounds...... Well got it installed today,

no i got the 060539 belt, and im getting around 14 psi boost, is it supposed to be 16? when i am in the car under WOT and it hits around 4*5k it sounds like the belt is slipping, or if i am sitting still and revving the car and it hits around that it sounds from inside that the belt is slipping, but i had my friend rev it up for me and listening right next to the belt/supercharger i dont hear a slip. Is there something wrong?

Keep the 539 as a spare, it can't hurt to have a back-up. I am sure the 535 will not slip for you.
