Hi Ortholance,
IMO it's not that loud and I have my backseat intacted, and I too use it as a daily commuter. I originally had the Magnaflow custom exhaust, which was really loud in comparison . It's really nice when cruising in the 3-4 rmp range and throaty sounding while WOT

dmp - what do you mean you got it louder than stock?? you mean the actual stock exhaust the mini came with or the stock stratmosphere exhaust? and how did you adjust the exhaust note?

Hey sunman--really?? Just got mine installed yesterday (granted I came from stock) and to me it's LOUD inside. Nowhere close to stock. I'm sure I'll get used to it (or figure out a way to quiet it down)--but if I'm on the gas any more than say 10% depressed, interior volume increases significantly...

Poolemac,
Honestly, I cannot recall what the sound was like with the stock exhaust, mine was off within a day I picked up my car. The biggest difference for me is that the drone has been eliminated with this system and the sound is still there when I step on the gas It just really depends on what you are looking for in a exhaust system.

I really like this exhaust! Unique in design and it sounds great (in fact, it should even sound better on EU-spec models with the burble en crackle)

We need an exhaust for the Clubman S!!

I have two of the new Milltek Sport Clubman catbacks in stock. $1199 MSRP and 20% off right now. We will also be working on our own version as soon as we get a car in the shop.

I intalled my stratmosphere exhuast last weekend! A couple of small fitment issues, but overall seems to be good quality material and design (I had to cut the front section off the support brace. Did anyone else have to do this? We tried every configuration!) anyways, sound is awesome! Deep and throaty but not too tin-canny. Sounds great at WOT. Not loud at all cruising speeds. No observed drone. Performance seems better, but hard to tell. I think all Catbacks are probably about the same in perforance/HP increase - not a ton. Only gripe is that it doesn't have the gurgle/crackling like a couple other ones I've seen on other threads, but I knew this going in and I think the actual sound makes up for it. Anyone know why the Euro-spec 56 has more of the gurgle than US-spec?? Definitly would recommend this exhaust and I researched all of them about 10times over!

I can't even imagine why the exhaust wouldn't fit absolutely perfect. My wife's car is the development car and John is my designer and builder. PLEASE call John Toll Free and talk to him about your experience. 1.866.533.1777. These systems are DIALED! Pete, Stratmosphere. 20% off for the month of December.

Just recently got back from my trip to australia, First impressions, opened up the box, really nice packaging first of all. unwrapped everything, the craftsmanship of the parts are top notch. Installed just a little bit ago, sounds AMAZING. very nice deep tone. not that loud in the car but outside of it, wow. but I LOVE it! one of the tips is out a little further than the other, will have to give stratmosphere a call about that but im sure its an easy tweak. If anyone is still wondering about the quality and sound, I don't think you'll be dissaponted great stuff guys!
