19% reduction Pulley and RMW Head ?

Hi,
Does anyone run a 19% reduction pulley with a RMW head ?

Car already had the following mods but looking the next jump in power :

1) BBR 220 Conversion ( 19% reduction pulley )
2) GRS intercooler
3) Milltek Exhaust Manifold ( header )

Thanks

Perm

Last I heard Danny@MiniCorsa was still running a 19% with an RMW head, but he's also got the super sick unreleased RMW Laminova W2A IC so he can stay cool with that pulley.
Jan will chime in eventually, hopefully this doesnt turn into ANOTHER pulley debate though

It could have more than the dyno reads. On the dyno it up shifts at 65k, on the road it shifts at around 7k, and for now thats ok.

Big HP numbers are great, but you still have to be able to drive it and keep it under control. At the moment my car is just fine. I have enough performance for me and if I need more later, I'll add more. Every day some one is coming out with something bigger and better. Thats half the fun. In 28k miles I had 3 heads, 3 exhaust systems, 2 super chargers, 3 cams,2 inter coolers, and an assortment of other items too many to list. Besides some body will always have more than the next guy. Just injoy what you have.

I heard that if you run this extreme of a pulley you can max out the supercharger or shorten the life of it or something, is this true?

Yeah, technically, as it turns the supercharger at a far faster rpm than it was designed.

It's possible but you can have things done to the super charger to increase the design for higher rpm range. Like higher quality bearings and trier spec. I've had mine modified and it seem to be fine at the higher rpms. At least for now

For how long will you keep your engine at te higher rev. range? hows the auto trany taking it?

Im planning to install a 17% pulley, just to get a little more fun at the low range revolutions, not really to take it to the track (maybe once)

That's hard to say. Driving it on the streets not for long, but at the track pretty much all the time if I can. The tranny seems to be just fine.
