Drivetrain Cusco FSD experience?
Cusco FSD experience?
I see a couple of full time race teams now using and recommending the Cusco LSD.
I am in the process of having my transmission replaced on the 04 JCW. Now is the time to install an LSD. I was going to have a Quaife put in because I thought it was the best thing available and has a good reputaion for low/no maintenance.
My understanding now is that while the Cusco performs better it uses clutches. Will these need to be changed or adjusted? How often? I autox the car with my teens and we want the latest and greatest. But tearing into the LSD for regular maintenance is outside of my experience level and frankly I don't want to mess with it if we can put in a Quaife and basically forget about it.
Are there any weekend autoxers out there using the Cusco yet?
Thanks for any replies
