GIAC tune ONLY

I'd like some feedback about performance improvement from a GIAC engine tune by itself for a daily driver. Does it improve the fun quotient enough to make worthwhile?

It's hard to believe that no one has had the GIAC tune for the R56 uploaded as a stand alone feature. C'mon. There must be someone!

GIAC is an amazing company. Where have you seen their software for sale for the R56?

Those numbers seem pretty low, especially for the price. The stock FMIC on the R56 must be very inefficient. I would have expected numbers around 190-200 WHP and 240-250 WTQ out of the software flash alone. Besides the .2L displacement difference, the new turbo motor is almost identical to the VW 1.8T. My car dyno'd 210 HP and 290 TQ with just a chip and exhaust.

Right now Giac doesnt impress me, with the pnp that I have i got higher number.

But also Giac is running with 91 octane gas. Maybe with 93 we see better numbers.

Is your Alta pnp designed for 93 octane only?

GIAC puts a great tune on vw's turbo models, a bigger exhaust is always recommended and cold air intake too
