19% pulley, DSC light and intercooler

Hi, as I wrote on topic I have a little confusion with mi DSC light.

And the problem is. When I have an OEM intercooler on the car, the DSC light come ON at cca 6000 rpm at WOT so overboost.

Then I swap my water to air intercooler on the car and in the same day after one hour, light doesn't come on any more.

Even in more then 500 miles after that I didn't see the light with water to air intercooler.
Let you know the core of the intercooler are OEM, just the water one. Like MINIMADNES one for example.

Does anybody have an idea what is "wrong" there is less boost? As I know less boost less power, so...I really be happy to figure out what is going on.

your water to air intercooler works fine

oem intercooler: higher intake temperature = higher presure
w/a intecooler: lower intake temperature = lower presure ( but more power )
physics ( hot air needs more room then cold air )

at some point ( should be around 1,1-1,2 bar pressure ) the engine management thinks theres something wrong with the car cause theres way more pressure them the stock engine should delivere

with the oem intercooler your propably over that point and with the w/a intecooler your below that point, simple as that

I thought the higher the temp, the lower the PSI would be? Ever drive your car when its really cold out and you get higher psi readings? In the winter with my 19% pulley i will hit overboost on the stock ECU and it will throw a code and a check engine light. My psi gauge tells me the same thing!

when he says pressure he is actually talking about density PV=nRT
(pressure*volume=moles*constantR*Temperature)
density im referring to would be related to the moles of air particles.
if you can achieve lower temperatures, then you can have more moles of air for the same pressure and volume. the more air you have (more moles) will allow more gas to be put in the engine in the 14:1 ratio and thus, give you more power.
