Drivetrain how many hours to install a new head and cam ?

how many hours to install a new head and cam ?

i will be getting my new rmw head and cam in a few weeks . just trying to get a rough idea how many hours it takes to install . will get a shop to do the job.

In my experience I'd say 4-6 hours, depending on the proficiency and attentiveness of the garage in question

thanx

i went to a non specialty shop to see if they could give me a ball park time.... they said 10 to 12 hours. i thought that was a bit long.
i will check around some more.

Mine took something on the order of 10-12 hours. But that was me doing the work, and it was my first Mini to work on. Needless to say, I was very careful and ran into the usual snags.
