i have the ULTRIK 3-piece self-aligning supercharger pulley on my car now .
just sent out a money order for my new rmw head and cam .
i would like to know if it is ok to take off my old pulley and install it on the new head . i would hate to have it back off after having the car back togeather.

The pulley is attached to the supercharger not the head so you should not have any problem. An aftermarket pulley can be removed and reattached anyway.

Do you have a header on your car yet? It's a good time to put one on if you don't. It'll slip in like butter from the top with the head off. It's a bit tricky to put in form the bottom with the head on. Not awful, but easier from the top.

I can vouch for that........with no head, removing the OEM header and installing an upgrade is cake. Just make sure to bolt the header to the head first, then follow with the connection to the catback, alignment to the head is much easier that way.
Some have experience the hard way, I was lucky enough to be forewarned before I got that far........now you are too.

And yes, get a Bentley manual, I found it at Amazon for ~$76 with free shipping.
