Bavarian Autosport Power Programmer

Does anybody have experience with the Power Programmer from Bavarian Autosports?

It's a $359 device that's supposed to remap the ECU for higher performance. Sounds a lot like the generic do-it-yourself tuning.

You'll have to look under 'Performance | Performance Software'

Your better off staying away from canned tunes, some times they do more hurt then good. And jan's tune is 350 so you save 10 bucks! lolz

I wasn't really considering this device, just wondering if anybody has ever used it - I hadn't heard about it before.

I was signed-up for the Jan tune, but had to cancel because of business travel

Thanks for the responses!

Hey RedRocketWA,

I also have the 2004 MC40 edition and I'm looking to upgrade my ECU. Did you ever end up buying one of the canned systems? If so, which one and where did you buy?
