Sorry no shots yet I didnt have time when I got home last night. Except what I picked up

HEHE

But I drove it today and post my results below.

Here are my thoughts....
1- I was worried a bit at how loud this would be. Im not a loud kind of guy so I took a chance and I am happily surprised at the volume. Its stock sounding with all the plugs in it and with one removed gave me just what I was after.

2- The throttle response is better with out a doubt. Seems to have better pick up in the lower RPM range.

I cant tell yet on mileage I havent driven it that much yet.

I will try and get some shots tonight of it installed but Im taking it out over the weekend and shooting it with chili red.

Sweet paint job!! That looks like a fun project! Please keep us posted on those results step by step. That's going to be sweet!

As for the AGS-R:

1. That is great news. The fact you can even adjust the volume on an intake system is so nice and convenient. I like loud so when I install, I'll probably start in reverse, having them all open, and than closing them if needed. Thanks for that.

2. Yeah, that was to be expected. I'm sure the intake is getting such better air flow now though because of the scoop and intake shroud.

Dude, by the time you take pictures, I'll have mine painted, installed, and driven it for about 500 miles! I'm kidding, but post as soon as you can, I can't help but be anxious!

Again, sweet picture! Looks great and thanks for posting your initial results.

Thanks, M7 does sweet work !

I have the forge adapter in place so blowoff is external, and yes when racing it, it loud. Normal driving, nothing noticeable. I also have the "noise maker" crap removed so boost is little higher and less nosier. With the Super AGS, JCW tuning, WMW turbo wrap and a few other goodies, you can here my turbo whine (not what I was after), but the car has no issues accelerating and staying at selected speed with nearly no throttle

As promised

Be forwarned if you do decide to do rattle can make sure you sand the crap out of the joints that join the top and bottoms.

THANK YOU! That is just F'n awesome! I can see what your saying about the tooling on the inside of the intake flow section, wtf do you call that part? Overall, very nice, looks clean and yeah, a touch of chili red will make that thing pop real nice! Well done, enjoy.

hmmmm, maybe you should send a picture to Peter and get a replacement. I'm not saying you didn't, but did you make sure that its installed correctly? It may very well be a defect from m7. Call him and find out.

fantastic paint job man, that looks great! To be honest, it doesn't look crooked at all. It looks perfect. Well done! Did you hardwire the Nuvi yourself? Where did you get the Chili Red paint, I would like to get some Astro Black? Thanks!

This makes me super jealous Thanks for posting!

Its the Vortex scoop that is a bit crooked but I did a little modifying and its fine now. Yep hardwired it myself (there are a few posts specifically on hardwiring them and whats needed) the wiring isnt the hard part it was the taking apart and specifically putting it back together again was the pain.

The paint is from minispeed dot net they have factory rattle can paint in the exterior section of the site. Great co. to work with thats where I got my matching flares and rails painted. They are going on Monday. Stay tuned.

Awesome thanks for the tip, I'll purchase a can or two for sure seeing how well yours came out. I'm an experienced rattle canner I will do just fine. Also, what did you mean by rails? Thanks!

Good to see you fixed the scoop, I'm sorry, I thought you were talking about the intake. I have a garmin I would like to hardwire, however, I like being able to remove it. I could probably just go by another power 12V plug if I wanted, but not on my priority list. Your's looks very nice and clean though, well done!

Thanks again for the paint tip.

ohhhhhhh thats right. I have the factory aero kit so mine came painted, I always forget that the stock MINI's ones do not have them painted. Awesome, its going to look pretty darn good then!

I'm telling you, those pictures make it seem orange, I knew I wasn't losing my mind.

My poor photo skills don't do it justice. The M7 strut brace is awesome. It is beautifully machined and the install is a snap. The bolt-on points to the SRPs are oval shaped and allow all the play you need.

HOW DID YOU FIT THE M7 BRACE! Mine won't fit correctly, it's really pissin me off! Please tell!

Also, anyone with the aerogel, is your aerogel part of the HS touching the turbo or the stock shield? Mine is and was wondering if that is okay. Thanks!

Hi im looking at buying the induction system detailed above. but i have had an induction kit fitted before (k&N) Cone filter. But i found that when i changed gear or put my foot down hard the turbo would be slightly lagging (about 1.5 seconds) which really annoyed me coz the stock intake system has basically no lag that was noticeable. So i do wanna buy this system but i dont want any lag just a power gain preferably bottom end? And tried and tested reviews and opinions??

Regards
