2006 MCS Clutch Sigh Sound
I have a 2006 MCS with just under 42K... I drive it light sporty but do not abuse the clutch on take offs... of late when I let the clutch out (especially when its cool as opposed to having been driven)... I hear a sound that sounds like a mid-range sigh...
Ideas... insights... etc much appreciated...

clutch noise
Mine makes a noise also when cold like the leg of a wood chair scooting against a concrete floor.
I found a lot of posts on this. Do a search on "chewbacca"
I found this post to be of interest:
It seems to be lost but in spring of 05 Mini team posted a campain #200507600043 for this problem.Mines in tomorrow to get clutch, flywheel, and throwout bearing.This re-appears every cold weather period on s models.Some others have posted after last weeks cold weather.It is characterised by a OOOOOOORT sound for the first few clutch engagements after cold start,usually dosnt happen after car warms up.
It is not model year dependent or mileage related
