Next HP mod...hmmm

As of date these are the current mods on our 03 MCS:

Alta 15% pulley
Alta 2% Carnk pulley
Alta CAI
2.5" exhaust
Drilled rotors and EBC Green pads

I am currently deployed overseas and thanks to all my special pays and no taxes I am looking at spending around $5000 for the next setup which might be these:

RMW Head and Cam
Alta Header
Tune

This is my proposed plan for my return in mid Aug. Any suggestions are welcome, if I am on the right path or not. I would have more money, but I have to finish modding the FJ Cruiser too....

More than likely I will...The alta header was in the original planning, but it all depends on if it will fit that bill mark or I will just get everything else and wait on the headers until more money is saved.

Save until you can afford the header. RMW designs all their parts to work together, might as well get the absolute most peformance out of your car.

Yep, just pick up the phone and call Jan, your money will be very well spent! Just got his tune and it IS the real deal, also saw a MCS with RMW head, cam, header, cat-back and tune pull 250 HP at the wheels on a 93 degree day with high humidity.

Very nice, Jan / RMW are the only real ones that I have heard of getting pretty much positive feedback. I will wait for the headers and order everything else and install it, I am not a very patient man when it comes to installing mods, but I will have to wait for Jan to get close to the Rocky Mountains for a Tune...

You should be able to fit the header in for that kind of money ($5000). The head is around 2k cam around 400, tune 350 plus dyno the header is not that much more.

Yes you will if you have a head and cam to get the most performance out of the tune. You will need the 440cc's

Thanks for the confirmation...Now I have to wait a few more weeks until I get back to Colorado. So much to do with mods when I get back between the FJ and the MCS. Patience, patience,...it's not working,
