I am relatively new to the Mini mod world but I think my foray has been well thought out and put into reality. I have a M7 16% pulley, M7 SS CAI, & M7 anniversary strut brace, H-Sport rear sway bar, and a Alta Sportone 2.5" exhaust. I am absolutely delighted with the performance so far but the only thing I might add is a Unichip upgrade. Any thoughts? Oh, I am also waiting on Dayton Wire Wheels to show up for the 17" Nitto Neo-Gens in my garage. Freakin' Pumped!!!!!!!!!

I feel pretty lucky and and the wife is on board with all of it which is complete load off the brain!!

 

Don't get a chip - Have Jan @ RMW do a true re-program tune instead.

 

I haven't installed all my parts yet, but I would also recomend a tune from Jan. I have read about 1000 posts about his work and he also has a mention in the newest MC2 mag. Well worth the wait to have him do it.

 

pass on the UNI, get a custom tune from Jan, it will tie in all of the mods and wake up the car.

what belt are you using with your M7 pulley? JCW belt as M7 suggests?

oh, you and i have almost identical setups

 

The Dayton's should be in my hands in about 2 weeks, been waiting about 3 weeks already. When in, pics will be aplenty. Don't know about the pulley belt but I'll check with my install guy and advise.
