I think the problem is that the air that goes into the intake its the same that the original!

what you think!

Have more solutions to explore that intake?

cheers

It still has the same bottle neck the stock air intake has. If you want something with a more prominent SC whine, you need to get a CAI that opens or deletes the portion of the rear cowl, the intake goes thru. While i admit the BMC looks clean, it's all about how much whine i can get out of mine.

can you explain better your idea?

i have mounted this way!

do you think its better have a bigger hole (1) and instead the air enter by the front of the car (2), get into from the back (3), reducing the air trip to the box (4)and gets a little bit noisier?
like this:

Like MCO mount, And you think that will have more performance or will pull more hot air?
(What means CAI)

Sorry my bad english.
cheers

The carbon fiber will be more resistant to heat soak that the metal CAI's available.

I think your assumption is correct, it relies only on the stock air feed only.

its a straw. The motor is the lips. longer the straw, harder you have to suck to get the same amount.

I don't like the tubing bends at all. A simpler design, taking air from two sources is the way to go. I'd be hard pressed to believe that it produced any benefits or gains.

Why not rig it up so that it would suck air from the vent just under the windshield wipers? I forget where I saw it but there's a body piece that you can get to replace the honey comb and turn it into a scoop.

I would thing if you ran it from the new scoop to the intake there would be a lot less resistance.
