I dont know how far bakers field is from you but I recommend

Bobs muffler
1230 E. 21st Street
Bakersfield, CA 93305
(661) 323-0877

As to knowing minis, you need an exhaust shop that also knows how to tune etc to help you decide what to go with.

Thats nothing for a mini. Ive had guys drive half the state (4hrs) for me to work on their car. Heck, even some from out of state!

You want good work at times you have to go the extra mile. They have a mandrel bender there, thast why i recommended them.

Talk to Danny at Fast Intentions (Northridge). He was with LaBree Motorsports and left to start his own exhaust shop. While at Labree, he built my custom no muffler exhaust for my S4 wagon and I loved it. I've talked to him about the MINI. He's a really nice, helpful guy.

Not that many muffler shops these days are too familiar with performance exhausts. They mostly just do stock replacements. That being said I have have had some really good custom exhausts done by the following shop. He has a very good understanding of performance and has reasonable prices.
