a brick? a shoebox?

I once owned another car (which shall remain namless) that was shaped like the MC - more than one person told me it looked like a SHOE.

How about a BOOT?

W00t! My MINI Motorsport t-shirt is gonna be worth a fortune!

(Sorry about the hassle, Randy. I don't mean to make light of that.)

I like Webb Motorsport. 'Randy Webb Motorsport' doesn't trip off the tongue as well IMO.

i like randy motorsport myself. I wonder if bmw is going to coma after my wesite becasue i have links to a few mini aftermarket companies on there. I think bmw needs to waste more time on other things and leave these domains alone.

Keep the "s" off of motorsport, Use a combination of RWM for decals etc... Spell it
out for other stuff...

P.S. dont let them take your domain name, have some fun with it. lots of people
snached up domain names and those companys paid big bucks for them... make
it a personal home page so you can showoff your family etc.. your racing...
how to's ... no selling etc... you can always link to RandyWebbMotorsport.com .

If the good fight must be lost, my vote is for RandyWebbMotorsport!

Aren't there any lawyer/mini owners out there that can fight on our side?!? This is so sad, Randy bought the domain name, its legally his!!!! I would not give up rights to the URL, just move the content to a new page temporarly. If the URL is legally theirs, they they should be the listed owner, but they are not!

We will still know it is "Randy- the Mini community's little celebrity idol" no need to smush this MCO fanboy goo all over your business.
fullname + Motorsport or intitials + motorsports is both too long and too "FANish"

So, Professionally, WebbMotorsport.com, it's elegantly short and descriptive
It says all it needs to say

I'd say yes...once they start to work down the food chain far enough to reach players smaller than MCO and Randy. Not to mention the fact that they're now probably trawling MCO and other enthusiast sites looking for targets. Hey, I'm not a conspiracy theory nut, but the bottom line is that once they start something like this there really aren't any logical or legal limits other than complete domination. If they let your site go (just because it's small), then how could they legitimately prosecute their case against MCO (just because it's bigger). The fact that they are going after Randy only lays clear the direction in which they're moving.

Randy Webb Motorsport. Doesn't tie you to MINI if you decide to spread your wings. Does a bi-line infringe on the copy right issue?

One other thought, MNE Motorsport. Pronounce it however you like but in all caps, I think it would be M, N, E. Your pronunciation may vary, if you know what I mean.

the shoe comments crack me up. when i first told my step-mother i was getting a MINI, she said she thought they looked like a "pregnant shoe."

my vote is for Webb Motorsport, fwiw. i guess i'd be leary of having a name that had the same number of words and used first/last name - just like John Cooper Works. plus, if you have kids, they won't have to change the business' name to "Randy Webb Motorsport and Sons!"

The name Randy has been branded big time! This is so because of his wonderful contributions. To ponder a name without such, I feel would be making a mistake.

Being that I like it simple - Randy Motorsport.

And, let's change that a bit to read:

RANDY Motorsport

The caps would be a nice touch on how many of us feel about this...

Domain name Evaluator

This is a little tool to help you decide that WebbMotorsport.com is the best choice.

I vote for Randy Motorsport. The brick name kinda comes from Classic Minis that were often called "flying bricks".
Maybe Flying Brick Motor Works.com? Could be referred to as F-BMW for short?

OMG, yet another sour taste is put in my mouth by BMW/MINI. I'm still gonna keep my car but geesh, this is so dumb.

I like:

Randy Webb Motosport
