It's going to be instantaneous HP. So if you're not HOLDING the HP up there then it's not going to be accurate.

... and while sometimes it seems like a reasonable estimate... at times it tells me that I'm putting down nearly 400HP.... which is cool, because I didn't spend nearly as much money as most of the guys who get to that level...

mine wrote 217HP for my stock GP.

 

That could be about right for a GP as in the UK we have seen some GPs produce 203bhp and some produce 225bhp so seems there is a very varied power output in stock form
