Did you also install the lower mount bushings at the same time? The upper engine and lower engine mounts look very similar. It would be a shame if you had them mixed up. The bushings are held in place by the bracket that slides over them, some people used large fender washers to help keep them in better. I'll be putting some fender washers in because the top mount is starting to come out as the engine's weight pulls down.

They should fit snuggly into the voids of the rubber. I have the Ireland Engineering bushings, so I guess I cannot generalize about all of the different makes. Did the bags come labeled? My IE bushings were in unlabeled bags with no instructions, but after test fitting them all, it was easy to tell which was which because of fitment.

There is no difference in size for the upper and lower mount powerflex bushing. The part #'s are identical. The smaller bushings are a complete replacement and you will need to remove the existing bushings to install them. The larger bushings are an insert that goes on both sides of the existing bushings.

Correct. I just made them tight as I could with a 1/2 in breaker bar. Sorry, no torque numbers

I think 74 foot-pounds on all engine mount bolts. This is the highest torque setting that any bolt on the car has, if I remember correctly. I'm sure someone with the bentley manual available will let us know, mine is burried in the garage.

Correct, if it's the big bolts. The smaller bolts (attaching the holder to the oil pan) are only 24 lb/ft.

I think the big bolts have 16 or 17mm heads.

It's great isn't it? Better steering responce too. Did you put in the transmission mount poly bushings?
