Do you mean the "Pulstar" capacitor-equipped spark plugs?

If so, then I don't see the point for a MINI, any more than capacitor-equipped spark plug wires or multi-spark ignition boxes.

Unless you have some reason to believe that the stock ignition system isn't reliably igniting the air/fuel mixture, you have literally *nothing* to gain by using these add-ons.

Here's a post from a little while back and the ensuing debate over them.

Found this website from a while back http://sparkplugs.com/sparkplug411.a...Results&mfid=0

Edit: Also on their website it seems if you have forced induction they want you to use direct hits spark plugs?

Silly, silly test - inconclusive at best, irresponsible at worst.

Yea, sorry to say, if you ran the same car on the dyno 20 times every single result would be different. A dyno is an inconclusive way to test spark plug efficiency.

If it sparks, and ignites the mixture of air and fuel, then it doesn't really matter if it sparks 900 times a second vs 800 or has a 2 million volt spark vs a 1 million volt spark.

Ignition is Ignition, that's why I don't understand people wasting hundreds of dollars on basically stock cars with an intake and pulley or something. We've got cars running in excess of 350 wheel HP on the stock ignition system, your 175 whp tiny tot doesn't need $800 worth of ignition plugs and coilpacks .
