1/4 mile run on a closed track right........yes back seat backs and bottom should go along with the rear seat belt hardware, the interior 1/4 panels, tail light panels, jack, and front passenger seat.

How's your boost? Good luck!

I wouldn't worry too much. If you have a pulley, you can take him. BTDT!

Don't have a full tank of gas. Try and have it at less than 1/4.

If you end up stripping out the interior, and removing all sorts of typically essential items, then why stop there? Remove the doors, hatch, stereo eqpt, etc...

A must read for you:

Audi claims a 0-60 time of 7.3 seconds. You should be ok if you know how to drive , beat him off the line.

i know that... i think hes auto too... so my shifts have to be perfect. ill prally video tape the run.

i still wanna remove extra parts that just add unneceary weight..
heres the tutorial i found... only problem is it breahes the warrenty. ****..

"1 Remove seat bench.
2 fold seats flat, headrests down.
3 remove the 10mm bolt from anchor point between the seats.
4 flip the catch plate on the top of the anchor point upwards freeing the seat pivots.
5 starting with the left seat (theres a reason for this believe me!!) gently pull the seat pivot upwards and free of the anchorage point but don't tip the seat upwards more than necessary.
6 Whilst applying gentle sidewards pressure to the seat, inwards toward the centre of the car (pull it from the bottom only level with the outer pivot point)tilt the seat fowards and backwards until it frees itself from its outer fixing point. The pivots have two pegs which pop out from the fixing point in the right tilt posistion (usually around 45 degree tilt forwards)
Take care not to move the seat too much any other way but forwards and backwards tilt,or the outer fixing point will break. Try to move the seat only as much it does when fixed in place, only allowing just enough tilt to clear the other seat when it pulls free.
7 repeat for the right side.
8 to rebuild just reverse the sequence. Right seat first, Left second. Notice that the left seat automatically shuts the locking latch when you push it home, that's why you remove it first, replace it last.
9 The 10mm bolt should be 10nm torque but hand tight is ok.
10 on replacing the seat pan, pop the two clips at the front first then with your fists together give a fast and sharp blow downwards on the seat just behind the seat belt anchor points. It should click home. you sometimes dont hear the click but just make sure the seat doesn't pull upwards at the rear.

Hope this helps.

ps, seat removal breaches warranty."

You can always put the seats back, and its not like if your engine goes or clutch etc. there gonna go "Well your seats out so thats the reason". Try and race him from a run and not from a dig.

Use a heavy guy to videotape from the passenger seat of his car. This will give you an advantage, and allow us to view footage of your impending arrest.

By the way, EVERY ONE of the people that have wrecked or gotten arrested while street racing didn't expect it to happen and thought they were being safe. Please be very aware of your surroundings since it sounds like you won't be going to the track...

a) You're in the wrong forum if you've got an '08.
b) This is a dumb thread.
c) You'll be fine with an '08.
