I'm sorry Kathy, I had to manage 4 peoples dates and work around MTTS. Let's PM/talk about how to get your MINI here for the tune.

Someone asked what Dyno will be used, here's a link to the one.

I'm set up for the tune--but I was wondering (and I'm sure this is a stretch) if it would be possible to do Jan's cam and tune on the same day. I have a 2006 JCW with no other engine mods; from what I've read it looks like Jan's cam would be the next place to go--more so than a 15% pulley (or maybe both would be best...).

I just talked to Glenn, he got your email and will reply to you later today. I wouldn't plan on it, if anyone things goes wrong there would be no recovery time to then get the tune. I encourage you to have it done the week of or week before. CYA!
Thanks! I figured its a long shot, but it would be oh so nice to get done in one shot--I'll see what Glenn says, its just that I'm in Wisconsin, and I there isn't anyone close by I'd be comfortable installing the cam...Otherwise I'll just go with the tune if its not workable.

Bump. Hey Gang, We have two of the 10 we need. This will be Jan's last tune in the midwest don't let this pass you by. http://www.autoxcooper.com/engine_tune_event.html
Come on guy's....There has to be 8 more in the great mid-west,Hell there has to be more than 8 just in the 3rd largest city in the states.....Let's go Chicago step up and get probably the best tune out there. I'm driving from Minneapolis to let Jan do his magic so if any one from Mn wants to tag along just PM me and we can get a "Mini-Convoy" going...

I need some feed back. Please PM me if you are thinking about it or have some other reason why you have not yet signed up. PM Please.
Thanks Dustin
Thanks Dustin
Sorry guys, I was of the opinion that the tune was closer to 300 or 400. I don't even know where I got that from. I know that it is worth every dime, and hate to miss out on the last time Jan is going to be out here, but I am going to have to pass.

Check out http://www.autoxcooper.com/engine_tune_event.html I've pushed the deadline to sign up to June 15th it will not be pushed back again. I know a few of you are ready to sign up that only leaves a few spots. One NAMer is driving 15 hours for this tune.
If there are not 10 to tune, the event is off and money will be refunded.

Thanks for signing up. Will still need 5 more to sign up at http://www.autoxcooper.com/engine_tune_event.html
Okay, I'm in! I've signed up for the 8:30 time slot.
I cannot believe that between Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison and areas in between this event isn't totally sold out! Everyone here on NAM is always singing the praises of RMW dyno tunes as the very best. That Jan really has it figured out. It's your chance to get the most out of your car. Why aren't you guys jumping on this? I know it isn't cheap. But, how much have you spent for a whole lot less power gain? Geeze!
I only waited because this is absolutely terrible timing for me. It is going to be an insane weekend. I'm exhibiting in a huge art show (like 200,000 people) here in Madison. I'll be driving the two hours to IL in my car on thursday or friday, renting a car, driving the rental back to Madison, setting up for the show friday evening, doing the show all day saturday, as soon as I close up the booth (the show closes at 6PM) I'll drive the rental car back to IL to see my car being tuned, then drive my car back home (leaving the rental in IL), maybe sleeping, doing the art show sunday, tearing down and loading up from the show. Whew!
I don't even track my car (maybe someday) and I can still see the advantage to getting this tune. Think about it. You're just about out of time to sign up. The last day to register is this Sunday, June 15th.
