Please re-read the below post, it might clear some things up for you.

FYI: Everyone is welcome to call us for more information regarding our products. 818.804.4580
The impression that I get, along with others, is that you're here just to fling **** along with other NAM members.

While other people are here talking crap, Gintani has been diligently working on their line of Mini parts and fine tuning MY car...so Cheers to them!

I highy encourage you and anyone who has an inquiry on Gintani parts to give them a call if you can't find the info that you want on here, rather than just Bash.

Seems to be the trend around here, anyone who doesn't agree with RMW just gets bashed until the point where they don't advertise on NAM anymore. (IE DMH, LDG)

Wow. just wow. It was most assuredly the other way....DMH and LDG were sending members nastygrams via PM's. It had nothing to do with Jan except they weren't happy to be losing business to him.

Don't make this a RMW thing Johan. Gintani shot them selves in the foot the moment they started talking ***** about RMW. Jan has been making and selling great products, traveling around the country doing tunes and helping any and all that call. Because of this he has built up a large happy customer base.

The guys on here have a mind of their own and are clearly very happy with the hard work Jan has done over the last year.

Gintani made there aftercooler over three years ago and were never seen from again. Hell, Recoop had to go to Jan to get his "Gintani" car to run right and finally make some power. I like the aftercooler just think the $4k + after install crazy.

Now they arrive on NAM 3 years later and claim to be the "tuner" in the Mini community and start talking smack from day one. Look who's post they decided to come into to make a 300+ claim. If they did then great for them. At this point most people will be very suspicious of any claims made by them. Only time will tell. This isn't an attack on you I'm just trying to point a few things out.

What did you expect would happen?

I know...people don't like change, it's human nature.

Re-Coop had done different mods after the gintani tune and LOST hp...There is more to that story than you lead on too.

Time will tell for sure. Thanks for your input.

Can't we all just get along Seriously, we all should just be happy that there are people out there willing to spend their time trying to improve our Minis. If some are better than others then so be it. Without this type of competition there would be no new break throughs.

All you guys who have a hard on for your favorite tuning company should read this book. Jan is successful because he knows where the cheese is. Companies like Palo Uber, that try to suck the market dry with outrageous prices and pointless products don't last long. It's natural selection at it's best. Only the fit will survive, and Jan is at the top of the food chain right now.

so you do understand why DMH and LDG went away. no longer big man on the block, there was nothing else to do but go home for them.

Gintani has claimed they are the big man now (replete with smacktalk), but has not substantiated anything yet beyond accusing naysayers of being unable to understand complex engineering concepts.

there's an animated gif based on a video game in here somewhere... 'a new challenger appears' or something

I've got it sussed, they haven't sussed out which key to hit to produce a dyno sheet after all they are engineers not computer experts
