Dealer won't do JCW flash on MCS
I've noticed that some people on here got a JCW ECU flash done on their MCS by the local dealer. When I called Mini of Peabody about this, I got a quick "No, we don't do that because it has to be tied to a JCW package". 
Needless to say I'm under the impression the SA has selling me something I don't want on his mind. How were you guys able to get a flash? I'll pay the $100-$125.

im not 100% sure on this but i believe that the "JCW" software for the stock DME is just the latest version of PROGMAN ( dealer programming ). the current version is 28.0.2. the 100$ you spoke of is the hour labor rate for most dealerships. just tell them you want the latest programming for the DME (Digital Motot Electronics) ( ECU) loaded into your mini

Works great on mine!!! Try another dealership and yes the flash was part of the 210 upgrade and the dealer has it, there was no disk involved...
