Drivetrain BOV kit from HKS for R56 MCS
VTA can cause stalling upon deceleration, poor idle characteristics, stumbling when first accelerating and throw a check engine light.
Hmmmm, that explains the slight bucking I have witnessed every once in a while. I guess it will be coming off, but I gotta get the boost tube upgrades, and the turbo inlet hose....to give me an excuse to get in there and take it off.
I think some blow off valves serve a purpose but when they are noise makers they are noise makers...........but this is by far the best sounding bov on the web right now

. Funny video
keep in mind thats essentially the same deal as the HKS valve. Based on other HKS valves, this one is also VTA which will cause the same exact problems as the forge valve. The only way to circumvent this problem is to make it a full recirc valve, which would probably get rid of most of the noise making ability or to reprogram the ECU.
There is no problem. Again. There is no problem. You can run the forge spacer without any issue on the minis. I feel like I'm on vwvortex 4 years ago. If you have a cel, stumbling, or anything else, ADJUST YOUR VALVE. If its tight enough that you're not LEAKING all over then theres no problems. Part throttle WILL be worse. Again there is NO GAIN, but properly adjusted theres NO danger of running a bov.
Thanks! After my last post, I thought about when my car kinda jolts mildly. And I thought it only happens in the morning when it's butt cold outside and the cars been sitting all night. So she's just a little cold, but when she warms up she likes to play, without a fight.
