Supercharger install vs Oil leak?

I have an oil leak somewhere at the back of the engine all the way on the passenger side. I couldnt track it down cause it was all over the axel and seemed like mabye the axel spun it back up furthering the confusion. I think it may be at the oil pan? Is it possible the BMW dealer caused this during the supercharger install? They did cause a coolant leak so now im wondering. I was a bit low on oil 1/2 quart over time so its definitley engine oil.

If its in the back passenger side, could the oil filter cap be loose as that drapes right above the cv shaft. I'd bring it back to the dealer to take a look if you can't find it.

Yes it could be the oil filter housing leaking. Take a peak with your 36mm socket!

I had something like this on my 05, turned out be a bad oil pan gasket.

Well BMW looked at it today and came up with the gasket on the heat exchange unit. I checked the oil filter housing before hand after reading via the search button. The heat exchange is located below the oil filter housing probably why I couldint find it via jack stands. Now im driving a VW Passat 2.0T. Lots of torque no top end hehe. Also they figured out the radiator has some "Y" connector that broke so in 4 days ill have Betty back. Till then I drive teh V Dub
