Have a MAGNAFLOW exhaust on my MC. Was wondering if a typhoon intake will increase the sound?

I think that the typhoon might increase the intake sound more than the exhaust note.
I would not expect much loudness difference in the exhaust note- nothing bad.
Talk to other owners of the typhoon in an MC and see what they say regarding intake noise- is there much to notice.
Intake upgrades in the MCS due to the supercharger are very noticible- more high pitched whine. I rather like it.
I might even get a tiny bit of high pitched sound from my throttlebody upgrade at Wide open throttle. (or maybe it is just a secondary effect on my airflow from the throttlebody being enlarged).

It should increase noise from under the bonnet - more of a rumble. I know when altered the intake on my car it did seem to open up the exhuast a bit more at WOT

There is a chance that the exhaust could sound a little more raspy. You might ask if anyone had noticed this in a typhoon MC with any aftermarket exhaust.

I've heard my car zip by with another driver, not what I'd say is raspy. I would suspect that the combo of an aftermarket exhaust and intake would create a more aggressive sound. If I'm going WOT in 2nd gear, it turns heads. Not the type of sound you'd expect coming out of a little car...having recently gone back to a stock intake for testing purposes, it's really noticeable. Actually a bit depressing.

The intake will sound great with an exhaust, I also have the magnaflow and I had the moss intake and it sounded so cool. The combo with the intake and exhaust will also give u a noticable performance increase too. Too bad the cops made me take my intake out...I miss the growl and hp it made
