I am trying to find after market pads for the R56 S. In researching I found the R56 S could have 2 different size front rotors, 10.9" or 11.6". Most sites list the 11.6 as the JCW front rotor on the R56. But the Mini tech spec sheet list the 11.6" (294mm) as standard. I know I could try to measure the rotor. I found EBC pads for both sizes. Any one have a clue or info on the right size?

 

The front rotors for the R56 MCS are 294mm or 11.6", the front rotors for a R56 MC are 280mm or 11". Maybe that's where the after market confusion is.

The R56 MCS rotors/brakes are the former JCW kit brakes, which may be why they're listed like that, likewise the slotted JCW rotors are just regular sized slotted rotors (which I would avoid, slots tend to translate to squeaky brakes).
