How to attach stainless front brake lines to shocks

I bought an 03 Cooper S with some mods and found that the stainless front brake lines are not attached to to shocks. When you turn the wheels to full lock the lines will rub against the shock or even the wheel. Anybody have any hints on how to attach the front lines to the notches on the shock body to keep them from rubbing?

you might want to try the wheel and brake forum, , but since your here, you should be using the same rubber grommets that are on the stock lines i believe, and they slip into notched plates sticking out from the shocks. If there is no grommets on your lines, youll have to order some from the dealer. Would be the best bet. You could zip tie for a temp fix until you get the grommets, but i dont think that would be a great idea for the long term.

Thanks guys. I'll see if I can find some grommets that will fit. It looks like they aren't an individual item I can purchase from BMW anyway so hopefully I can find something at a parts store that will work.
