Drivetrain itg air filter

itg air filter
I have an Alta CAI, the first version I think. Does anyone know if the Dinan itg filter from minspeed would replace the Alta's foam element? I read on a post that the Alta foam element would fit in the Dinan box if tilted. This means that the filters are the same size on one end right? Any idea where I could source an itg that would fit?
I don't really need to replace the Alta filter, but I'm at a point where I can't really afford any RMW stuff and I need to buy stuff for my MINI. It's an addiction...you can understand that right? Also, it seems that the itg filters use 3 layers of different size foam compared to Alta's uniform foam(it is uniform, isn't it?)
