What would the time frame be? I need to get to one of these, either in December or January. Summer works too, I've gone a long while without a tune, I can wait longer.

Well I would hope before Christmas. That would confirm 2 people, you and me. Unless there were some other takers.

Would need to have Jan confirm however if he could do this since it is December and Christmas and all.

So far, it looks like we have SharoSC02, tazio, probably JimZ (?) and me.

Personally, much as I'd love to do this before Xmas, I'd rather hold off until after the new year - lots of stuff and expense going on right now.

Oh, believe me, my priorities are straight (Christmas presents, Schmristmas presents), I'm just a little crunched for money right now from rebuilding my place.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!

Got my tune today, and OMG, what a difference it made. Thanks Jan!! The performance improvement is day and night. Prior to driving down to the dyno place, I was in bumper to bumper traffic for nearly 2 hours, so driving back in bumper to bumper traffic on the way home let me see how much of a difference there was on the low end as well.

Some things I noticed. I'm smelling my brake pads a lot more now, and the car feels lighter with the extra torque. Definitely more responsive. Thanks Jan and thanks Danny (MINICORSA) for replacing my pulley belt--something I've been wanting to get done for awhile now.

So Before the Tune, I dynoed at 183.4 HP and after the tune 202.1 HP--nearly 20 HP after the tune! 10 ft/lb improvment. My mods are Alta Intake, M7 16% pulley, Invidia Exhaust, DT Bypass Valve.

Why no 380 injectors? Congrats on the successful tune

Same Dyno. We're talking like 10 minutes apart. It was dynoed twice for the base before the tune, then the map was uploaded and dynoed again. This is the dyno where the wheels are removed and fittings are attached directly to the hubs.

You will love the improvement!

I can't do all my mods at once! LOL. Have to spread things out. Get larger injectors, do another tune. Get an RMW head and do another tune, lol.

Haha, soon!! Thanks!! I'm very impressed. I mean my MINI was fine before the tune, but now it's like I have to back off on the pedal a bit more otherwise I'll spin the tires all the time. I'm ready for the next autocross. =)

Sounds good Richard. Sounds like you are very impressed and it made a HUGE diffrence. All this goodness without the head. I can only imagine how it feels like with a head upgrade. Now I myself might be doing a tune prior to getting a head as well.

BTW, sorry about the pictures . I dident have time today at all. Hopefully by this weekend.

I can't put a pulley on my car because of autocross classing issues, but all of these posts make me wonder what Jan could do on a car with just a CAI and catback exhaust!
