hyperbole Don, hyperbole
progress and those customers who choose not to buy from you. sending them nastygrams via PM is, well, low-rent. Behe has rubbed off on you and not in a good way....hard to believe this is the same Don I had some good conversations with on the phone a year ago after buying an exhaust from you.

Customers? There are no issues. I highly doubt that anyone on NAM that has an actual shop has any more than us.
NAM is dominated by the writings of very few. Post a contrarian argument based on fact and trouble emerges from those with an agenda.

maybe this is the reason you've relented on posting data about your products? dyno sheets, spring rate info, you know...the things informed consumers look for when making informed buying decisions. don,
care to provide the link?
get over your self
I have an agenda.. you are right.. the same one I had 4 years ago... and that's to shut up the bullies and liars (especially the ones who are vendors)... and let people know you can have your car be as fast as you want. You just have to know the right combo of parts and that it's not rocket science...
even an someone like me who (according to pope big dog john) can't read or spell can make gobs of HP... just takes some time, money and an ability/willingness to learn. Granted not everyone is savy... but no biggie. I'll gladly help them.
Yes some of us have a much greater learning curve. Mine happens to be quite high. LUCKY ME! ofcourse, I can't spell to save my life.. but when it comes to computers and cars, watch out.
If you and John are having so much trouble getting MINIs to perform the way others have HP wise or Tuning wise, maybe you should choose/stick with a different platform... just a thought.

Hushpower has become a separate entity from Flowmaster http://hushpower.com/ . My resonator has a loose part within and will be replaced, my jinxing propensity is working its malevolent mojo.
interesting how it's usually the same two vendors leading these threads there every time.
to think that Don says others have an agenda yet he's here pushing his own and namecalling - the BS minion comment...come on...he knows better. I call BS wherever I see it...that's exactly what Don purports to be doing here, but it's 'do as I say, not as I do'. Perhaps Don should rethink his marketing strategy and get back on track....the lessons Behe taught him aren't serving him well. Ironic since Behe talked poop to me in person about Don's tuning skills mentioning that Don couldn't tune his own car and had to bring it to LDG to have it done.
Here's some advice for Don about pushing his products, especially the headers. Put up or shut up....find a dyno and show us the benefits. Apparently having his own shop hasn't helped him get there yet, though Jan seems to have it figured out without the same resource.

There is a good thing about this thread though..................we are tallking about MINI'S, we could be talking about Hundyias or Toyotas
. To everyone...go out and just drive your Mini today and you will feel all better

Great point!
I just got back from delivering the Hoosiers back to the storage shed and it sure feels great
After reading and following this thread since the begining, my choice of seeking out Jan and RMW for my future tuning needs has only been reaffirmed. I tend to like those with professional attitudes--as most do, I would assume.
Must just be the way my mind works!
they are actually a brand of tire, oh and also a basketball team in Indiana
.
lol... I wonder where behe was to correct don's usage on "now vs. know".
at any rate. Keep selling on the negative don. It just makes people like RMW and Juston look all the more professional.

btw, back OnT, this system is surprisingly quiet. If anyone is looking for a low-noise option in the custom/performance header market, the CMC with Hushpower might be your ticket. I'd say a significantly lower noise level than my Megan/Milltek system, even with a 300cell cat. I'm thinking of ripping out the Hushpower...because you know that loud pipes save lives!

Ah, see, there you go--sound is much like sight--beauty is in the ear, or eye, of the beholder. I suppose I got used to that really loud exhaust. I think I'll ask Juston to make me a mid-pipe with no resonator, just for kicks!

OK, seeing as this thread gets viewed a lot, and I'm assuming mostly for information about the header rather than an accoutrement to popcorn, here's a photo of the CMC next to the stock header (caution, header ****):

I love photos, especially of headers, since even those who have them on their cars rarely see them.

combo for about an hour w the 62 and had to go back to the Milltek
