I had a chance to stop by ALTA and check out the place. They have some really nice parts for the Cooper and the S. The person I talked to was very friendly, while I was there I picked up one of their foam drop in filters. Its a great looking part and doesn't feel or look cheap. I fits the air box very well and has made a bit of a difference in the feel of the car. I know that an intake would make a much bigger difference in HP but for now its better than nothing and hey for 35 bucks what the hell.
