Seeking confirmation

I've been searching through threads and I think I've got my information straight and I just want some confirmation.

Fact or Fiction?

1) The stock cat-to-resonator pipe on the MCS is 2.25 inches in diameter.

2) The stock header's post-cat outlet is 2.25 inches in diameter.

3) The Milltek header's post-cat outlet is 2.5 inches in diameter.

Without getting into too much detail, I've been looking at picking up a Milltek header and mating it to my stock exhaust (which I will one-ball). If I do this will I cause sufficient heat build-up in the cat to burn it out?

Anyone out there have this combo?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Bryan
