2 Cooper S Engine pictures from BMW Performance Center in Greer, SC
These are not my pictures. I got them from a local car forum member on vadriven.com who when down to the BMW Performance Center for some training (he's a BMW tech).
Really strange plastic box (noise reducer?) in the intercooler 'hotpipe'.
That's what your heat shield covers. Wow, that's a tiny little turbo

not sure but, I'd guess it's only for the techs. But, that would be a cool tour, if you could see all of the engines
