Drivetrain Unichip and Flux Module
Unichip and Flux Module
Hi,
Just a quick question, has anyone purchased the the Flx module for their Uni Q Unichip seperately? If so did it work straight up or did you have to send the Unichip off to Unichip to get it programmed for it? Mine will only talk to the Flux module but won't connect to the Unichip. Also just for those people that have purchased a Uni Q and said that they are useless. I think what your problem is that the only best way to make it work is to get it custom tuned to your car. To buy one with it preprogrammed isn't going to do anything except bring on engine lights as they have way too much timing in it which means it leans it out till almost detination which is why so many of you guys are getting check engine lights on. To have it preprogrammed is just a waste of time, you might as well just get an ECU reflash as both of these are best guess. You've spent the money to get the Unichip, you might as well spend more money and get it custom tuned to your car. I did and it is awesome. I have it turning on my water/Meth kit and other stuff. So that is my thoughts on the matter

I just bought a Unichip with the flux from a friend. I would like to know where you got yours custom maped and what was the cost factor. He and I have simalar set up's except for our pulleys. He runs a M7 16% and his Unichip was set up for a 15%,CAI and exhaust, and I run a 17% with the same mods as well. I know I'll need to get a custom tune but don't really know where or how much.
I live in Australia, sorry. I don't know where to get it tuned in America. I am sure if you get onto the Unichip website which is www.unichip.us you can look up tuners in your area.
