I wasn't following the X-300 thread. Sounds great. Hope the tuning goes smoothly!

Brief Summary..

Good---Makes power...good turbo selection...clean install...able to run 27psi without having a stock piston fail.
bad----exhaust manifold does not hold up, issues with downpipe clearance with front swaybar, had to replace all coolant & oil return lines due to not holding up. Need to find your own tuning (apexi AFC), need larger injectors to really utilize the capability of the turbo. Really need to monitor your a/f ratio which requires a wideband gauge. Need to purchase your own boost controller or you will just make way to much boost up top and none down low if utilizing the waste gate only to control boost.

Our kit is designed so that you dont need to buy anything else. The only money you will need to spend is the cost of the kit ($4800) and the install charge ($2000). Nothing else is needed, clutch, internals, lsd, nothing.

There are things you personally might want to have (an exhaust of some form comes to mind), but nothing else is needed.

I think twincharge is a waste without a new head. If you'er going to spend 7k for 250 HP, you might as well spend another 2k and make it 275

Like all performance mods you'd benefit from getting an aftermarket head with higher flow than the stock choked head. An intake/exhaust wouldn't hurt either .

Yea, Pistons help a lot, running 21+ lbs of boost on stock pistons isn't going to last long .

Probably not...

Honestly if I was just looking for 250whp, I wouldnt go twincharged knowing what I know now....now if you want a lot more, which I do, then go straight turbo, which I am in the process of. I've came accustom to the fact that the car isnt as nice to drive as when it was supercharged. Its just not. Until they get a viable way to tune the ECU, you will be dealing with drivability issues, the most annoying of them, surging. Try driving on the highway in 6th gear at a moderate speed and you just cant do it without dealing with the annoying surging. So you end up keeping it in 5th and revving it out a lil more, so there goes your mpg, not to mention having to deal with the higher revs and on a custom full 3" makes for a long day...

What about the Fireballed guys? Can't they get you guys(that need it) their tune with their twin charges and full turbo set ups? I heard that they fixed this problem. I had also hear that LDG can fix the ecu problems. Just me trying to help.
