New Scoop Required for DFIC?

Is an aftermarket hood scoop required for a DFIC? Or is it possible to use the DFIC with the stock scoop? Same answer for both M7 and Alta?

Thanks for any insight.

You could use the stock, but not recommended. If you buy a new M7 DFIC it comes with the scoop . Not sure about the Alta.
