New Scoop Required for DFIC?

Is an aftermarket hood scoop required for a DFIC? Or is it possible to use the DFIC with the stock scoop? Same answer for both M7 and Alta?

You could use the stock, but not recommended. If you buy a new M7 DFIC it comes with the scoop

. Not sure about the Alta.
