DDM CAI Filter Replacement (Paper)

i bought a DDM CAI and it is great. as you likely know, it comes with a foam reusable filter. i prefer to use a disposable as my time is really limited to do the clean cycle. M7 does not offer a paper alternative. where would you go to purchase a paper cone filter (ideally a high perf model)? thanks.

Hi perf(as in high flow) and paper are pretty much mutually exclusive properties for an air filter

Take a measurement and see if one of these will fit http://www.syntheticwarehouse.com/na...ir_filters.htm
No oiling required so they will stay free flowing longer and cleaning is a breeze; the price is very competitive also.

$35 to $50ea isn't exactly a throw away item and they still need some maintenance.

Looks like a nice product though.

Sorry, can't help with a paper option, but we do offer extra foam filters, you could get one extra filter so that you always have a clean one ready to swap in, just another option.

several years ago, Dave at DDM advised -

"it is just a 2.75" opening filter that is 8" long."

i also now need a replacement and am open to a paper filter as well. was looking at a K&N RU1480.

let me know what you find. thanks.
