SES Light went on.

In the last couple of weeks my SES light kept going on and off on my 06 MCS, so I finally took it in to get it checked.

Before the light went on the MPG according to the OBC was right around 23mpg. The only mods are a 16% pulley and intake. I have never seen anything higher not in my 03 or 05 MCS so I just took it as "normal". Once the SES light came on the MPG dropped to 21mpg.

It turns out the O2 sensor went bad and it was replaced. Now my OBC is showing almost 27mpg?? Plus according to my "butt dyno" the car pulls much stronger......not sure if dealership did anything else other than replace the O2 sensor i.e, flash ECU but I like it!

Any ideas?

DOH! Selected the wrong forum moderator can you please move to 1st Generation forum.
