I have just purchased a Magnaflow exhaust for an 02-03 S and I have an 05 S...is there a mod that needs to be done? Hangers, install, etc...? What have been the install prices for a new exhaust at a muffler shop? Thanks in advance.

The catback you have is the early model. It will not fit on your 05 without modifying the hangers.

I'm in exactly the same boat as you ZM - spoke to a fitter who said it is a doable project and hopefully gettint it fitted this Saturady.

a good exhaust shop can handle it dude . some stainless rod and a cut off wheel and you're in business .

 

Had it fitted today, just deleted the inner two hangers on the back boxes as far as I can see. Developed a bit of a rattle near the battery heat shield after some spirited driving, going to have this checked out.

F00k me is it loud nothing like the vid clips (I know, shouldn't go by these) - wife says it sounds like a banger and wants it returned to stock asap
