Trust me...I was very tempted to let the clutch fly and churn some smoke...but I remembered how much the clutch install was...

I'm going to try and find a larger industrial park next weekend and do some better flybys...

I don't know... As far as know, they haven't changed the design...

The picture on their web site shows the silver box which is what I got. Now I know I could have gone with the sprayed black version but decided that I liked the silver look better. However, the "DDM Works" emblem is certaily not there on mine. Not that it matters much but was curious to know the difference and why the design is different since I also ordered the DDM?

Oh...You have the SS version...I got the powder black (it's available on their site) and the emblem is the decal they supplied which I stuck on...

Yes...prototype #3...it's been on there since Dragon 06...Although the promising properties of the Laminova W/A incooler may put this up for sale too...

Yeah but I'm not happy with the new speaker...I couldn't find any space ANYWHERE for the Whelen speaker so I got a smaller one to fit behind the lower grill...it works but no where near as loud as the Whelen...

The search for space continues...

Here's a little mod that requires some history...

Back in December 2005, I put up this image...

People asked, "where can I get the fog lamps like those in your bumper", or "when are going to sell those?"...You couldn't and I'm not...it was a concept sketch...

Then in 2007 came this...

Ok...I never claimed to have invent the 07 Mini rear fog lamp but I didn't paid either ...I took a good look at the 07's rear fogs when Aaron (Outmotoring) popped off his at MOTD07 so I can imagine it's shape on my 03 and thought...naaah...it ain't gonna fit...so I just went with custom made reflectors recently when my clear rear lamps came in...they look ok enough...

Not long after this...my good friend Chris (another freekn designerlol out did me when he managed to install the R56's fog lamps where I thought it wouldn't fit...

Too bad he doesn't post here so I'll take all the credit...

Here we are at 1am and Msfitoy's butt in air on jacks while waiting on the RTV to cure tomorrow...then they'll go on and look just like the original concept sketch...

More later...

Hey Misfitoy.. I've always loved your car. Such incredible attention to detail. One question (for now), what's the small black box mounted to the side of your DDM? It looks like it's got 2 small dials on it..

You should've just kept it at "KoolMaster 3000". I'm pretty good around an engine compartment, and even I would've believed you.. I probably would've been up for a few more hours searching the net for the elusive "KoolMaster" and give up believing if was a Misfitoy "custom" creation..

You should've also said you were on the R56 "undercover" project team and neither confirm nor deny the similarity of your bumper reflectors..

I must say that I'm suprised that there isn't an M62 under that bonnet. (or do you!)
